About Van-Go Wagon Co.

Van-Go is a mobile creative studio for kids, powered by a modified VW Vanagon.

On the surface, it looks like a bright van full of art supplies, imaginative fun, and playful energy popping up at birthday parties, festivals, and school events.

But there’s more: every booking helps fund free mobile outreach to kids in need, from underserved areas, to those impacted by grief or trauma, or just when a little extra care and comfort is needed.

Every paid booking helps support free or low-cost mobile outreach for kids who need extra care. Some are navigating grief. Some have limited access to creative experiences. Some simply need a child-centered space that feels safe, warm, and open.

Our goals are simple. We want to give kids a place to express themselves through art and play. We want to bring families moments of connection in the middle of busy lives. And we want to make creative experiences accessible, mobile, and rooted in care.

Van-Go brings together our training, our values, and our hope for what childhood can feel like: imaginative, steady, and full of possibility.

The Van-Go Timeline

2017

Loss

In 2017, our brother was killed in a Marine Corps aviation accident. The care our family received in the years that followed shaped us. Through teaching, community work, and art-based support, we saw how connection helps families heal. Van-Go brings that spirit to kids and families through creative expression and play.
